Royal Welsh Summer Show 2009
The Royal Welsh Show 2009 appeared to be as busy as ever, despite the current economic climate, with a total of 220,023 visitors over the 4 days. The heavy rain encouraged more people to visit the Food Hall, and yet again our products proved as popular as ever, selling several thousand units ! We launched our new Carman’s Butter, an anniversary pack we brought out to celebrate 20 years of successful business, which was also a big hit with the customers.

The launch of Carman's Butter !!
This year we are celebrating our 20th year in business. To show all the hard work and dedication that has been brought to our customers over these successful years, we have decided to launch a Limited Edition Anniversary pack of butter, Carmans Butter. As a family business we are very committed to our Customers’ needs and we have shown this by offering them something a little bit special. A delicious creamy British Butter, salted to 2% for that perfect balance of taste and flavour.
Royal Welsh Winter Fair 2008 a sell out !!!
We attended the Royal Welsh Winter Fair for the second year running. It proved to be a major success, with record attendances on the opening day we sold out of the entire Hollybush range on both days, selling over 2400 units. The brand is showing tremendous growth and the loyal consumer base continues to grow. Hollybush butter has now reached record sales and the outlook for 2009 looks even more prosperous with some very innovative products in the pipeline… watch this space !

PLMA Trade Exhibition - Amsterdam May 2008
In May 2008 we attended our first ever International Trade Show in Amsterdam, PLMA which is a private label trade show. PLMA is a popular show which consists of over 3,000 exhibitors and manufacturers from over 70 countries and attracts over 5,000 major buyers from all over the world.
In January 2008 we had our annual BRC inspection and were awarded Grade A for the second year running. The inspection was carried out by Lawlabs who only picked up 4 minor non conformances!! A great team effort from all the staff especially our Technical Manager - Dave Dunkerton who had the pleasure of leading the audit ![January/08]

New products launched, Hollybush Spreadable and Hollybush Welsh
As demand for Spreads increases significantly year on year, we launched Hollybush Spreadable to compliment the Hollybush range. Hollybush Spreadable is a blend of pure butter and vegetable oil which means it will conveniently spread from the fridge and at the same time has the delicious taste of butter. As demand for local produce increases by consumers and retailers, we launched Hollybush Welsh. A distinctive salty Welsh butter blended to a traditional Welsh recipe with distinctive gold and red packaging - its unmistakably Welsh !![September/07]
The start of our MONSTER Marketing Campaign !!
After rebranding the Hollybush range, we decided we would look at some advertising and marketing. We knew we needed to find something a little different, something that had never been done before .... Well, here it is... we sourced a Monster Truck and decided to plaster it with the new Hollybush logo to promote the brand. You can now see us coming a mile away and suprisingly we never struggle to find a parking space![August/07]
